CEF Green Grant and Loan Program

Promoting Responsible Stewardship of God's Creation

There is a great emphasis these days on the proper use and conservation of our natural resources. Various government programs are available to assist businesses and individuals in their effort toward a ‘green environment’ and reduction of energy consumption. Such incentives may not be available to churches.

As Christians we must be good stewards of the resources God has provided and exercise good conservation practices. Church Extension Fund has developed a special program to assist congregations in conserving energy and reducing utility costs—possibly freeing-up money for other ministry needs!

Don't wait!  This program ends June 1, 2011. For more information, contact the CEF office to request a brochure and grant/loan application form. Call us at 1-800-242-3944  or e-mail  cef@mi-cef.org.

Helping People Maximize What the LORD
has Given Them to Manage!

Church Extension Fund has a Gift Planning Counselor on staff for the benefit of congregations and their members. He will work with congregations to help build their Endowment or Trust Fund. This occurs through an education program discussing the ministry and the difference each donor can make if they implement their own Charitable Gift Plan. Once a donor (or potential donor) asks for assistance in creating their plan, they will receive counseling on a one-on-one basis, calling in other professional advisors as needed. The main objective with each meeting is not just to leave a gift for the ministry, but to make sure that the donor's goals are met, their family is taken care of and they remember ministry - if that is what each donor wants. When planned giving is approached in this fashion, there are quite often much larger gifts for both ministry and family. This service from CEF is without any cost or obligation, and is offered to enhance the stewardship of what God has given to each of His children.

in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
